Anyroom

Thai Furniture Design from Anyroom

Anyroom Anyroom was founded by Thai architect Duangrit Bunnag. The interior design store is on the 4th floor of the Siam Discovery Center, and while it does carry a few international design items that I already seen elsewhere, it also featured a lot of local designers, including work by Bunnag and other anyroom designers.

anyroom is a favorite room in the house, a place where you want to live in. From dawn till dusk, an aesthetics always embraces. Knowing that yourself cannot afford something regular, you search for the new, deeper to the finest details. Some may say "why bother?" and you realize immediately the reason that differs you from those who are general. Design does really matter and it could come in all prices. Without it can cost you quality of life. You have only one life to live. How can you deserve less while you can afford more.

My favorites included this dining table called Dance, with its multitude of legs. The table is made from solid hardwood, and would also be great as a conference table. There was a lot of solid wood designs at anyroom, and I love the combination of minimalist architectural forms combined with the solidity and warmth of large pieces of solid hardwood. You can't help touching them, like the Lanta Chair and the strangely flexible Toy Chair (more pictures after the break).
