Applegate Gallery
I've been walking in front of the Applegate Gallery everyday this week on the way to our temporary accomodation in Santa-Monica, but only entered the gallery this weekend. There, I met with Anne Applegate, owner and curator of the gallery, which just opened its doors in June.
The Applegate Gallery shows a cutting edge variety of some of the most exciting contemporary art available today. Veteran art dealer Anne Applegagte started the gallery with a dedicated vision to offer seasoned art buyers, as well as novice consumers a pristine gallery setting in which to understand, appreciate and buy art.
My favorite artist exhibiting right now is Mark Hobley and his Queen Of Hearts and I Got Lucky paintings which are part of his current series on luck. I also enjoyed the more abstract work of Terrell Moore, which is a lot more subdued and abstract.
The next exhibition opening at the Applegate Gallery is The Sensational September Show opening on September 9th, from 7-10PM.
