New Hardware

It turns out that all the problems that the website was having last week were hardware related

This has been driving me crazy for almost a week. Zope would mysteriously crash, or boot with strange errors and half the products would be broken. Then python would start acting up, and also have strange Segmentation Fault crashes even on non Zope related code. After trying to re-install all of the Plone and Zope software again, and involving a friend that knows Linux much better than I do, We finally came to the conclusion that all of this was because of faulty hardware.

The people at the colocation ended up changing the machine completely, and starting from a fresh installation. It seems that everything is back in order, but I'm increasing the frequency of backups, just in case.
